Purpose
The purpose of the newsletter is to inform the membership of the business, policies, and actions of the Association. West Virginia Libraries also contains articles on activities and issues affecting libraries in the state and elsewhere. The editors welcome suggestions for articles from librarians, support staff, trustees, and friends. Articles may be submitted in writing, typewritten, by e-mail, or on computer disk (ASCII format).

Article and Advertising Submission Schedule
West Virginia Libraries is published 6 times a year in January, March, May, July, September and November.
- January Issue: December 15
- March Issue: February 15
- May Issue: April 15
- July Issue: June 15
- September Issue: August 15
- November Issue: October 15
Subscription and Address Change Information
- A subscription to West Virginia Libraries is included with WVLA membership dues.
- The subscription rate for non-members is $15 per year. Some back issues are available at $3.75 per issue.
- All back issues are available from: University Microfilms, Ann Arbor, MI.
Submission Format
- Articles may be submitted in writing, typewritten, by e-mail or on computer disk.
- If submitting material on a computer disk, save your file an ASCII file and submit a hard copy (printout) of the material on the disk.
- Send your materials to either the editor or assistant editor and they will notify you when the article will be printed, etc.
