The Technical Services Roundtable met at both the annual conference and at Spring Fling.   During the Spring Fling meeting of the Roundtable the consensus was that workshops held during conferences work best - therefore the Technical Services Roundtable has held it's workshops in conjunction with the conferences.

 

Two Technical Services workshops were held at the 2005 Spring Fling:

 

 

1) Cataloging Sci/Tech Papers   

 

2) Creative Cataloging      

 

 

Two Technical Services workshops were also held at the 2005 annual conference

 

 

1) Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Authority Control  

 

2) Cataloging for Children and Their Parents   

 

 

In addition the Technical Services Roundtable sponsored a workshop on copyright issues lead by a Copyright Information Specialist from the Copyright Office during the 2005 annual conference.

 

 

Future issues for discussion include acquisitions and serials issues
